Evaluate what search engines see

In order for us to understand what a search engine is reading we as humans are required to see in order to learn. What you will need is a free program called a LYNX browser. It is not pretty but it allows us humans to understand this better. DOWNLOAD PROGRAM

You must follow these instructions perfectly for it to work

• Make a folder on the top level of your C drive called lynx_w32
• Unzip the contents of the lynx_v283.zip file into that folder.
• Make a shortcut to lynx.bat* and place it on your desktop.
• Double click the shortcut. Lynx will open with google.com as the home page

The Lynx browser will only display TEXT and what the search engine sees. This will help us to design our page as a bullet for search engines. Press G for go and type your URL in. Answer Y for yes to accept cookies. Now as a human you will be able to see what the search engine sees. Compare this to sites that are listed high and see how they look to a search engine.

In my example I am attacking the keyword horse classifieds so if the search engine is seeing this word multiple times then we will be listed higher.
