3 - Proper Meta Description matching page
4 - Use the H1 tag in the top of the site
5 - use the H2 in the footer of the site
6 - Try to write a paragragh in <h1> or place in center of site for Content.
7 - Achieve at least 200 sites linking back to you.

The formula is simple. It does take work and time. Try to do 5 pages and then watch your results. Allow google to return to your site twice in order to see the content. As you can see I have pulled a page 3 in yahoo. Now we all want to be on the first page. But when you at least see yourself on the first 100 results you now know your doing something right.
